Eoin Morgan joining as an Overseas Player in Euro T20 Slam

England Skipper Eoin Morgan who is leading England Cricket team in T20I and ODIs, is lined up as an overseas player in the very first season of Euro T20 Slam. The tournament is set to kick off in August 2019 and featuring teams from three nations Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.

Eoin Morgan who born and grew up in Dublin Ireland first played for the Ireland Cricket team. Morgan represented Ireland in 23 One Day International. He plays county cricket for the Middlesex and was named as England Skipper in 2015 Worldcup.

Morgan is one of the two players who hold the unique record to ODI hundreds from two countries.

 

The left-handed batsman is also known as a “finisher” due to his amazing skills to hit the ball hard and finishes the game. The Euro T20 Slam is looking forward to have Eoin Morgan joining as an Overseas Player in Euro T20 Slam and hoping him to represent the Dublin Team.

“We will be delighted to have English captain Eoin Morgan as a part of our league,” said Amit Singh from Woods Entertainment, the promoter of the league. “If the Irish-born cricketer gets picked by the Dublin franchise, it would be like icing on the cake. Saying that, the dynamics of the draft can take him to other teams as well.”

Eoin Morgan is going to join the list of other players who already have confirmed their signing along with Shane Watson, Rashid Khan, Brendon McCullum, and Shahid Khan Afridi.
